However, to earn trophies you must have purchased the full version, players joining with the Free Friend’s Pass Trial cannot earn any trophies!

There is a free “Friend’s Pass” which lets you gift the game to another person to join you. Important: Because It Takes Two is a Co-Op Only Game but doesn’t have matchmaking you should find a 2nd player to help you before purchasing it (local splitscreen with 2 controllers or online co-op). Some Sections are fairly long though (up to 1 hour) so in order to not waste time you should get everything on the first attempt.

If you missed a trophy or a minigame you can quickly replay the Sections via Chapter Select. (Optional) Step 2: Chapter Select if you missed anything Simply follow the trophy guide from top to bottom (it’s in chronological order) and check the Collectible Guide along the way The trophy list is already in chronological order. You can keep track of them in Chapter Select, it shows exactly which ones you have found and which are missing. The 25 Minigames are this game’s version of Collectibles and they are marked by purple floating tambourines in the world. These are usually little easter eggs and side activities. The 18 chapters-specific trophies require you to do certain optional tasks in specific sections of the game. Play through the story, get all 18 chapter-specific trophies and find all 25 Minigames (Collectibles) along the way. The game is divided into 7 chapters with several sub-chapters (called “sections”). If you quit the game and select continue it places you at the last checkpoint (no need to replay the sub-chapter from the start). You can continue where you left off, so no need to do it in one sitting. The story is quite long, around 13 hours on average. That said, with 2 people working together the game is easy enough and the puzzle solutions obvious. Don’t try to do this by yourself with two controllers, some sections would be very annoying without a second player. The gameplay focuses on platforming and cooperative puzzle-solving. There is no matchmaking so you must have a co-op partner figured out beforehand. You can play it in local couch co-op with 2 controllers or with an online friend through PlayStation Network. The setup of the game and trophies is similar to A Way Out, the previous game by the same development team. Only 25 Collectibles (Minigames) and the rest are miscellaneous trophies that require you to interact with certain objects in certain chapters. There are no difficulty-related trophies. Welcome to the It Takes Two Trophy Guide! This is a fairly simple and straightforward platinum.

One player will have to stay on the bottom to suck up firebombs with the tube, while the other player jumps up the steps to control the hose and aim the firebombs at the Vacuum Tower’s face. After some attacking, steps will rise up behind you, and on these steps is a vacuum tube. It will be shooting garbage firebombs at you, but they will be fairly well-telegraphed with shadows. Your boss at the end of this section will be one disgruntled vacuum cleaner.

How to beat the Vacuum Tower in It Takes Two Screenshot by Gamepur In a later puzzle, one player will have to suck in red beads with one end of the hose while the other player shoots them out the other end. This will be your way to get the player controlling the hose to join the other player. There are some upward-facing fans that you can reverse the flow of by ground-pounding red buttons when the fan blows green, they will be shooting upward, lifting anyone who stands on them.
